Meet Brittany Chin, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello! I'm Brittany Chin, the proud owner of Hoboken Speech Stars. With over 8 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and AAC evaluator in the NYC Department of Education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my practice. Previously a preschool teacher, I have a passion for the youngest learners and emerging communicators.
Professional Background
Throughout my career, I have specialized in:
Early Language and Literacy: Fostering foundational language skills for young learners.
Articulation and Phonological Development: Guiding children to clear and precise speech sounds.
Working with Toddlers: Engaging the youngest communicators in fun, effective therapy.
Autism Therapy and AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) : Using a total communication approach, giving a voice and developing language via technology.
Personal Background
On a personal note, I have called Hoboken, NJ my home for the past 12 years. I am happily married and the proud mom of two wonderful little boys. Our family also includes our beloved dog, Dusty.
