Neurodivergent Friendly Therapy for Children with Autism and ADHD based on a DIR/Floortime Approach

At Hoboken Speech Stars, we embrace neurodiversity and provide therapy that embraces each child’s unique way of thinking and interacting with the world. Our services for neurodiverse individuals are based on a relationship based approach and are client led. The DIR/Floortime approach is a play based method that encourages social, emotional and cognitive growth by meeting individuals at their level and following their lead. We focus less on drills and more on functional communication and social skills. We believe that every person deserves the ability to communicate and we look at each person based on their strengths.
